A Flighty alternative for your flight history, on any device
Flighty is a great live flight tracker for Apple devices. If what you care about most is your flight history, and you want it on Android, on a laptop, or on one map with every city you've been to, Waymarka may suit you better. Here's an honest look at both.
The short version
- Choose Flighty if you want live tracking, delay predictions and alerts on iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch. Waymarka doesn't do live tracking.
- Choose Waymarka if you want your past flights and the places you've visited on one map, in a web browser on any phone or computer, with a one-time Lifetime option.
- Use both if you like: keep Flighty for the day you fly, and bring your history into Waymarka for the long-term map.
Why people look for a Flighty alternative
- No Android app. Flighty says it has no immediate plans for an Android version. Waymarka runs in any modern browser, so it works on Android phones, Chromebooks, Windows and Mac today.
- Price. In the US App Store, Flighty Pro is $59.99 a year, $9.99 a month, or $299 for Lifetime. Waymarka is free for your first 10 flights, and Pro is $19.99 a year, $2.99 a month, or $49.99 once, all in USD plus tax.
- Places, not just flights. In Waymarka you pin the cities you've visited, plan to visit, live in or come from, even when you didn't fly there, right next to your flight routes.
What Waymarka does
- Flight log and route map: every flight as an arc on a world map, with aircraft, airline and route stats.
- City-level pin map: mark places as Visited, Planned, Living now or Native.
- Boarding-pass scan: scan the barcode with your camera (unlimited), or let AI read a photo or PDF of a pass (1 a month on Monthly, unlimited on Annual and Lifetime).
- Imports: Flighty export, myFlightradar24 export, any flight spreadsheet in CSV (you confirm the column matches), or the Waymarka template.
- Review before saving: imported flights show up as a list first. Possible duplicates are flagged so you can keep, replace or merge them.
- Share: a public profile you can switch on, plus 9:16 story images for social.
- Export: download all your flights as CSV from Settings at any time.
Where Flighty is better
We'd rather you pick the right tool. Flighty is stronger if you want live delay alerts, gate and arrival predictions, Live Activities, CarPlay or Apple Watch. Waymarka is a logbook and map, not a live tracker.
How to move your Flighty history to Waymarka
- 1. In Flighty, open Settings → Account Data → Export Your Flights. Flighty emails you a CSV file. Save it as it is; don't open and re-save it in a spreadsheet.
- 2. In Waymarka, open Add flights → Import Flighty and choose the file.
- 3. Check the list. Airports are matched for you, and anything already in your log is flagged as a possible duplicate.
- 4. Save. Your flights appear on the map and in your stats.
Importing works on the free plan for your first 10 flights, no card needed. If your file has more, the 10 most recent are saved; Pro, a paid upgrade, imports the rest.
