Import your myFlightradar24 flight log into Waymarka

Years of flights in myFlightradar24? You can bring them across in a few minutes. Waymarka reads the standard myFlightradar24 CSV export, shows you every flight before it's saved, and puts your routes on one map with the cities you've been to.

What you need

  • A myFlightradar24 account with your flights in it.
  • A browser on a computer or phone. The export is done on the myFlightradar24 website.
  • A free Waymarka account (no card needed). The free plan imports your first 10 flights; if your file has more, the 10 most recent are saved. Pro, a paid upgrade, imports the rest.

Step 1: Export your flights from myFlightradar24

  • 1. Sign in at my.flightradar24.com.
  • 2. Open Settings → Export (my.flightradar24.com/settings/export).
  • 3. Download the CSV file. Don't edit it: the original file imports most reliably.

Step 2: Import the file into Waymarka

  • 1. Sign in to Waymarka and open Add flights.
  • 2. Choose Import myFlightradar24, then Choose export file, and pick the CSV.
  • 3. Waymarka reads the file and shows a summary: how many flights were found, how many are ready, and any rows it skipped, with the reason (for example "no readable date"). You can download the skipped rows as a CSV to fix them.

Step 3: Review and save

  • Each flight shows the airports it matched, so a wrong match is easy to spot.
  • If a flight is already in your log, it's flagged as a possible duplicate. Choose keep existing, replace existing, merge missing details (fills blanks only) or keep both.
  • Save. Your flights appear on the map, in your flight list and in your stats.

What comes across

  • Imported: date, from and to airports (the IATA code in brackets is used), flight number, departure and arrival times, airline, aircraft type, registration, seat number, flight class (as cabin class) and your note.
  • Not imported: seat type (window, middle, aisle), flight reason, duration (Waymarka works it out), and myFlightradar24's internal ID columns.
  • Ratings and reviews aren't in the export, so they can't come across.

Check cabin class in the review list if you track it.

Keep both, or move over

myFlightradar24 is free and good at what it does. If you're happy there, you don't need to switch. You can also keep both: export a fresh CSV whenever you like and import it again. Flights already in Waymarka are flagged as possible duplicates, and you choose what happens to each one.

Troubleshooting

  • "No readable date" on some rows: check the Date column has a real date. Day-first and month-first dates are both detected across the whole file.
  • An airport matched the wrong city: fix it in the review list before saving, or edit the flight afterwards.
  • Nothing was recognised: make sure you uploaded the original .csv. If you edited it in a spreadsheet, save it as CSV again (comma or semicolon both work), or use Upload CSV and match the columns yourself.
  • Big log: imports with hundreds of flights are fine (the free plan saves your 10 most recent; Pro saves them all). Check the summary for skipped rows before saving.

Frequently asked questions

Does myFlightradar24 have an export?

Yes. myFlightradar24 lets you export all your flights as a CSV file from Settings → Export.

Is importing free?

Yes, for your first 10 flights, no card needed. If your file has more, the 10 most recent are saved. Pro is a paid upgrade that imports the rest; Monthly and Annual offer an optional 30-day Pro trial, which asks for a card on day 1 (cancel before day 30 and you pay nothing). Import the same file again after upgrading: flights already in your log are flagged as possible duplicates.

Will I get duplicates if I import twice?

Not without asking. Flights that look like ones you already have are flagged, and you choose what to do with each.

Can I import from other apps too?

Yes: Flighty exports, any spreadsheet of flights saved as CSV (you confirm the column matches), and the Waymarka template. You can also scan boarding passes or add flights by hand.

Does Waymarka have an app?

Waymarka runs in any modern browser on phones and computers today. iOS and Android apps are coming soon.

Can I get my flights out of Waymarka later?

Yes. Settings → Data and privacy → export all your flights as CSV, on any plan.
