Flight stats: miles flown, airports and airlines
Once your past flights are in one place, the numbers add up on their own: how far you've flown, how long you've spent in the air, how many airports you've passed through and which airlines you fly most.
Waymarka is a flight log and travel pin map that runs in your browser on any phone or computer. It records flights you've taken, not a live tracker: it doesn't track flights and doesn't send alerts. Your stats come from the flights you log.
The four headline numbers
The Stats tab opens with four cards:
- Distance: the total distance of every flight you've logged, plus how many times around the Earth that makes.
- Time in air: total hours and minutes in the air, plus your number of flights.
- Airports: how many different airports you've flown from or to, plus how many countries.
- Places pinned: how many places are on your pin map, plus the countries you've touched.
Miles or kilometres?
Waymarka shows distance in kilometres. If you think in miles, multiply the total by 0.621 (or divide by 1.609). For example, 10,000 km is about 6,214 miles.
You don't need to look anything up. Each flight's distance and an estimated flight time are worked out from the two airports, so a flight logged with just a date and a route still counts toward your totals.
Your top airlines, aircraft and airports
Below the headline cards are ranked lists:
- Top airlines: the airlines you've flown most, by number of flights.
- Top aircraft: the aircraft types you've flown most. Only flights where you've entered an aircraft type count here, so add it with Edit on a flight's page if you want this list filled in.
- Busiest airports: every departure and every arrival counts as a visit, so your home airport usually comes out on top.
- Pins by status: your map pins split into Visited, Planned, Living now, Native and Not visited.
There's also a Countries list with a flag and a visit count for each country. A country counts when a logged flight departs or arrives there, or when you have a visited pin there. The countries flown tracker page explains that count in detail.
How to get accurate stats
Your stats are only as complete as your log, and they update every time you add, edit, import or delete a flight. The quickest ways to fill in your history:
- Type a flight in: only the date and the two airports are required. See how to log past flights.
- Scan a boarding pass: the barcode fills in the route, flight number and seat. See scan a boarding pass.
- Import a file: bring in a CSV, or an export from Flighty or myFlightradar24. See import flights from a CSV.
If the same flight comes in twice, Waymarka flags it as a possible duplicate so it isn't counted twice by accident.
See it on a map and share it
Every flight behind these numbers is also drawn on your flight map. The Share stats button on the Stats tab makes share cards for your distance, time in the air, top airline and most visited airport. Exporting a 9:16 story is a Pro feature.

Frequently asked questions
Can Waymarka show my miles flown?
Waymarka totals the distance of every flight you log and shows it in kilometres. To get miles, multiply the total by 0.621.
Do I need to enter the distance or flight time myself?

Why is my Top aircraft list empty?
Only flights with an aircraft type entered are counted there. Open a flight's page, tap Edit and add the aircraft type.
Are flight stats included on the free plan?
Yes. Flight statistics are included on the free plan, which covers your first 10 flights and 10 city pins, no card.
Is Waymarka a flight tracker?
